So, Jim's given you a brief outline of what Bad Taste Magazine aims to achieve and most of you are probably wondering... what comes next? Well if you haven't done so, make sure you start by registering your interest in the project and let us know whether you want to contribute or just stay in the loop. We have some exciting opportunities coming up and our contributors and followers are going to be the first to know.

New Team Members
That said, we've been busy setting the project in line for the August launch and to help us get there smoothly, I'm pleased to welcome new members onto the full time team. As well as the contributors we've already got working on spreads, Marcus Bott ( Deputy Editor ), Sam Daniels ( Events and Marketing Manager ) and Kevin Pfister ( Head of App Development ) will be beavering away to help us achieve our August launch date. View their profiles and look out for their handy work; here on the site and in the first issue, at launch, or in Kev's case on your handheld device.

Contribute, Contribute & Contribute
Title says it all, we aim to get back to everyone who gets in touch and for those of you who've submitted art or links to your works, we'll be making sure it's amongst the first to feature on the full version of the Bad Taste Magazine site when it goes live close to launch in August. We're also on the look out for creative ways to get your content in the magazine, so whatever your dicipline, challenge us. Or, if you've already thought about it, tell us how.
Spread the Word
Last but not least, we're slowly but surely letting people know about Bad Taste Magazine. Last week we had a great response from arts, design and visual communications contributors at The University of Leeds and we'll be looking to make our way round the country, but in the meantime delve into some social networking up top on the menu bar and get involved, in-fact I'll bring the links here instead, all you have to do is click.

Road Ahead
Over the next month, we'll be working to finalise a few conceptual aspects of the magazine and starting to compile content for print, screen and handheld devices, so look out for some previews here on the blog. Those of you already involved will get to see it slightly sooner but if you're not then...
